| Deepwater Horizon: They fixed it!! Well…almost…

Almost 100 days into the oil spill in the Gulf of México, with hundreds of millions of gallons already spewed; BP has yet to confirm the complete sealing of the oil gusher. Reports show that BP has put a cork in it, but is that really were the focus should lie?
Since the oil leak began, there has been speculation that the
problem lies in the gusher’s inner casting. So why are we plugging something that could put more pressure on the already compromised pipe?
Maybe this is just a sign that it’s time for us to replace our exceptionally high demand for oil with a resource that is far less hazardous (i.e., wind and solar energy). To date, there have been 17 major oil spills across the globe; with a minimum of 30 million gallons of leakage. Re-iterating the fact that mankind and wildlife are not immune to these catastrophic accidents. Even more, they were accidents that could have been prevented.
What’s next, the clean-up. It will take months and the effects will last for years, but there is something you can do, DONATE!!

“Lebron James Picks Miami”
After much debate and amidst rumors of his final choice, LeBron announced Thursday, at a highly anticipated ESPN special, that he’s leaving Cleveland for Miami.
Although Miami may be jumping for joy, the other prospects are doing a more somber dance and blasting it across their headlines with titles like “Legone”(Cleveland Plain Dealer) and “Burnt” (New York Daily News).
But that didn’t stop Miami ticket sales; as the Miami Heat confirmed the team has sold out its current inventory of season tickets, just 24 hours after Lebron’s announcement. Looks like LeBron may be to Miami what Jordan was for Chicago.
